We believe in the Good
News of Grace and Peace.
The gospel
is the message of hope to the whole world because Jesus
Christ came to do a sacrificial work on
the Cross that would forever settle the issue of sin
that stood between God and Man. This is the Good News!
The sin that had separated all mankind from full fellowship
with God has been paid for by Christ. This is a sheer
gift available to all men!
By receiving the sacrifice
for our sin that Jesus became upon the cross, we can
now have peace with God! (Romans
5:1-2) God is no longer focused upon our sins or our
actions for we are hidden in Christ in God (Colossians
3:3) and we can come boldly to His Throne or presence
to find help for any need we encounter
(Hebrews
4:16).
It is the action of Jesus upon the Cross
upon which we rely to approach God. Our approach is through
the Son
only. Our sin has been dealt with and as believers our
shortcomings are no longer an issue that separates us
from daily fellowship with God. Paul the apostle wrote
to the Galatian Christians (Galatians chapter 3) warning
them and us not to begin our spiritual walk dependent
upon the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and then turn again
to works or depending upon the goodness of our own actions
to give us an "approach" to Father God. Many
believers fall into this trap. This is the "other
gospel" which Paul warned about and is totally alien
to what Paul preached (Galatians 1:9). Our hope is in
Christ alone.
We now have a destiny (a pre-planned destination)
and a good plan for our lives (our walk of life). The
choice
is ours to walk in the things He has planned for us!
Peace with God—what a wonderful gift! Because of
all that Jesus did upon the Cross, His righteousness
is imputed now to us, and we have become the righteousness
of God simply because we are in Him (Romans 4:6-8;
2
Corinthians 5:21).
Life becomes an adventure with limitless
possibilities when we know these simple truths!
As Partners with Faith Ministries
Church International
We covenant together that we will pray for one another
and support
one another with faith and love.
We determine to speak
only good (James 4:11),
And to encourage and build up our church family (I
Thessalonians 5:11).
We will bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2),
Serve one another (Galatians 5:13),
and fellowship with one another (I John 1:7).
We will
maintain a spirit of unity; there will be no division
among us; we are perfectly joined together in
the same
mind (I Corinthians 1:10).
We will work together for
the cause of Christ and in fulfillment of the Great Commission,
